Rough Cut Renegade
Rough Cut Renegade was built on craftsmanship, hard work, and a lifelong respect for wood.
I grew up in Michigan, long before social media and texting defined daily life. Those years were shaped by working with my hands and learning from mentors who valued patience, precision, and purpose. Time spent in the workshop of Dr. Irving Feller taught me the fundamentals of woodworking and how to see potential in raw material. Later, working in my uncle’s tree removal business gave me a deeper understanding of wood—its structure, grain, and strength.
Those early lessons led to a long career in the green industry, where I managed irrigation departments for large landscape companies in Florida and ultimately served as Vice President of Eden Landscapes. Along the way, I gained leadership experience, sitting in boardrooms with multimillion-dollar companies, collaborating with C-suite executives, and participating in marketing efforts ranging from sporting event booths to large-scale trade shows and supported marketing efforts at every level. No matter how far my career progressed, working with wood remained a constant.
In 2025, I returned to Michigan to bring those experiences together.
Rough Cut Renegade combines executive-level business insight with a lifelong passion for woodworking. Today, I create handcrafted wood products designed to live on the desks of decision-makers—not in the trash. Whether used as onboarding gifts, client appreciation pieces, or branded promotional items, each piece is made to be functional, timeless, and intentional.
